Chip and a Chair

Event 7: $350 + $50 Deep Stack No Limit Hold'em

Playing 10k/20k with 3k antes.

Gary King shoved from the hijack and got the snap-call from Hanoch Guttman in the cutoff. After everyone else got out of the way. George said "oops" and showed JT off. Hanoch held pocket Aces. The board came 9 9 6 9 8 and Hanoch took the pot. The stacks had to be counted down and Gary was left with 4k in chips.

After posting the 3k ante, Gary had a single 1k chip left, which he tossed into the pot. Both blinds called and on the flop of K J 2, Jon-Michael Rea (sb) bet into the side pot and Sonali Virendra folded (bb). Gary held 97 suited and was actually ahead of Jon-Michael's 93 off. The last two cards were blanks and Gary took the main pot, chipping up to ~30k.

Gary was then all-in for 24k on the next hand with three callers. That pot ended up in a three-way chop among players holding a King -- including Gary.

Gary King - 39th place

Gary was once again all-in for 37k against two opponents, who checked down the board. One of them paired up and Gary was finally busted in 39th place, earning $962.

Two short-stacks were all-in, both holding pocket Aces. Robert Noel called the extra from the blind holding J5. Was a good investment and he won the pot and busted two players in the process. Robert is up to ~1.2 million.

Travis Wong busted a player and he's now up to ~1.6 million.

Blinds have increased to 12k/24k with 3k antes.
