Colin Maneval Goes On a Heater From 40K to 585K

Event 3: $500 + $60 No Limit

When the Money Bubble began, Colin Maneval (from Newton, MA) was down to about 40,000 in chips. But he went on a major heater, and in his own words, said he sucked out four to six different times on his way to 585,000.

Chipleader Colin Maneval

A hand or two after he told me this, Maneval had John Cleaver all in after a flop of A Q 5. Maneval had A K for top pair, and Cleaver had Q 2 for a pair of queens with a flush draw. The turn was the 4 to complete Cleaver's flush, but Maneval could make a higher flush with another club. But the last card was the J, and Maneval shipped about 100,000 over to Cleaver, dropping down to about 472,000.
