Dinner Break Update: Sheldon Still Dominant

Event 12: $300 + $50 No-Limit Hold'em

The remaining 74 players finish Level 14 and take a one-hour dinner break until 8:55 pm ET. When they return, the blinds will be 2,000-4,000 with a 400 ante. The average stack is about 76,000.

The top 36 players will finish in the money, guaranteed at least $653. A little more than half the remaining players will go home empty handed.

Mike Sheldon has only increased his lead in the last 45 minutes, and we've had a few other players make their way to the top of the leaderboard:

1. Mike Sheldon (Dresher, PA) - 267,000
2. Celso Garcia (Charlotte, NC) - 176,000
3. Emmanuel Desmanais (Montreal, Canada) - 156,000
4. Ali Soleimanlov (Fairfax, VA) - 155,000

Here are updated counts for other notables that we've mentioned to this point:

Marco Laviola - 132,000
Matt Lope - 90,000
Eric Doerr - 72,500
Rob Perry - 70,500
Andre Boyer - 68,500
Peter Capuano - 34,000
David Filippi - 32,500

Rob Perry was wrong in his prediction about Rob "Pops" Matos, because Matos busted in the last hour. Perry, however, is still alive with a nearly average stack, as you can see above.

Recent eliminations:

Rob "Pops" Matos - 0
Emad Alabsi - 0

The players will return from dinner about 8:55 pm ET, and continue playing tonight until they reach a winner.
