The Draw

Heads Up - Double Elimination ($2000 + $150)

Busquet Back to Defend & Play Heads Up

Gavin Smith, Olivier Busquet & Nick Binger are some of the poker headliners in one of the most anticipated events of the Borgata Poker Open. Throw in 14 time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, and you've got a heads up tournament that will be followed closely over the next two days.

Pro grinders Jesse Yaginuma (2009 Poker Open Champion), Christian Harder & Mike Leah are also in the field.

Smith, Busquet & Phelps are no strangers to this event or Borgata, as all three have played in multiple heads up tournaments here. For Smith, the Canadian pro returns for the first time since winning his first WSOP Bracelet.

Busquet's back to defend his 2009 WPT Borgata Poker Open Championship, in which he used his on-line heads up specialty to overcome a 14 to 1 heads up deficit to win the Main Event. While, Phelps is looking to make another splash after just missing the money in the Borgata Winter Poker Open in January.

Binger has more than $1.5 million in live tournament cashes and will be 1 of 64 players navigating their way through the double-elimination bracket, as the heads up champion will be crowned Wednesday night.

Players start with 25k in chips, each level is 20 minutes long and blinds start at 25/50.
