Event 2: 10th - 7th places

$200 + $30 Deep Stack Turbo No Limit Hold'em

Playing 80k/160k with 20k antes.

Giuseppe Pantaleo moved in for 880k utg+1 and Chris Bonita called from the cutoff. Giuseppe's A4 off was in bad shape against Chris' AQ off. Then the board came 7 5 3 2 5 with four clubs. Giuseppe held the Ace of clubs for the nut flush to double up. Chris was left with about 200k.

Chris got his last chips in against George Montebello. George's AJ dominated Chris' A2. No suckout this time as a Jack on the flop was all George needed to take the pot. Chris Bonita finished in 10th place for $1,498.

Andre Boyer open-shoved for 650k and Jeff Lee called on the button. Andre's T6 off was a coin-flip against Jeff's pocket 3s, but Andre said T6 was his favorite hand. I guess so, as the board came T 6 2 J 6 giving Andre a boat and the pot. Jeff was left with 230k.

Playing 100k/200k with 30k antes. Greg Merritt shoved, Jeff Lee committed the last of his chips, then Giuseppe Pantaleo moved all-in to make it a three-way. Jeff held AJ offsuit; Greg held pocket 3s, and Giuseppe held AK suited. The board came A 6 4 T 7 and Giuseppe took the pot with his kicker. Jeff Lee finished 9th for $2,305 and Greg took 8th and $3,284. With that pot, Giuseppe was up to ~3.2 million.

Andre Boyer opened for half a million, Fran Gottron committed his last 100k, George Montebello called, and TJ Jaimangal called. On the flop of T 9 8 with two spades, it was checked to Andre, who moved all-in. George called (TJ folded). Andre held AK; George held AJ; and Fran held QT and the best hand. The last two came J7 and Fran took the main pot with his straight, chipping up to over 600k. Andre and George split the side pot.

Three players limped and Jerry Callahan checked his option in the big blind. The flop came K 8 2 rainbow. It was checked to George Montebello (hijack) who bet 400k. The other two limpers folded and Jerry made it 1.225 million straight. George called, leaving himself only ~500k behind. Turn was a 7 and Jerry moved in. George called, showing QJ (Queen-high). Jerry held K7 for two pair and George was drawing dead. He finished 7th for $4,206.
