Set Over Set Busts Soheil in 10 Minutes

Event 14: $1,500 + $150 No-Limit Hold'em

Play hadn't been going for ten minutes when Soheil Shamseddin reraised preflop with pocket tens, and his opponent called. The flop came Q-10-x, his opponent bet, Soheil reraised, his opponent reraised, and Soheil moved all in.

Soheil's opponent called with Q-Q for a set of queens.

Two cards later, Soheil Shamseddin was eliminated from the tournament before a large number of players have even worked their way through the registration line. But Soheil promises to return tomorrow to play in the $1,000 + $90 6-Max No-Limit Hold'em, and of course Saturday's WPT Borgata Poker Open Championship.

Here's a look at the registration line, which looks long but is moving rather quickly:

Line to Register For the Tournament

Haven't even done a full pass of the field yet, but have already noticed Matt Stout, Chris Bell, Mike Leah, Matt Matros, and Nancy Todd Tyner in the field. We expect many more names to show up in the next hour or two.

With 400 big blinds in each starting stack, there is no rush to get here for the first hand of the day.
